My bad, so the Hawaiian word for baby is keiki (pronounced cakie) and today Michael and I planted about 500 of them in three rows in one of the bays of the greenhouse. Here is what it looked like when we were finished.
Here are all three rows of planted keikis. They start in little trays and then we transplanted them into the troughs today. There’s Michael in there too.
Here’s the whole greenhouse and the water catchment system in action. Today, Becky got a water truck to come up here, so we’re good to go for a little while.
Just a quick picture post. I have a lot more to say later, but I’m off to the hot ponds with Michael.
